CAGADS is a one-stop resource to provide the general public with information on guide dog and assistance dog training organizations in Canada. CAGADS member organizations are accredited by the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) and/or Assistance Dogs International (ADI). Accreditations are conducted on a regular basis by IGDF and ADI which results in CAGADS members having consistent training methods and the highest level of international standards.

CAGADS members demonstrate a working co-operation within the industry of guide dog and assistance dog training, resulting in a higher degree of success and the ability for our organizations to assist as many individuals as possible throughout Canada.

As a member of CAGADS, each organization offers credibility within our industry and operates a reputable guide dog and/or assistance dog training school, recognized internationally by those in our field.
